Kasey is an accomplished executive who began her credit union journey shredding old drafts and inserting share draft buck slips in members’ statements at her dad’s credit union. Learning early on that “it’s all about the member”, is what drives Kasey’s leadership decisions today.
Her financial services background spans over thirty-five years working in large and small credit unions and the Northwest Credit Union Association (now the GoWest Credit Union Association). Kasey’s experience includes strategic planning, leadership development, operations, marketing, business development, compliance, political advocacy, and community engagement.
Kasey is an approachable leader who engages all levels of stakeholders and encourages team collaboration. She empowers her team and provides them with resources and tools to get the job done. An effective communicator, Kasey easily builds rapport with employees, board members, vendors, community leaders and legislators.
Over the course of her career, Kasey has been passionate about Credit Unions for Kids. She knows children are our future and believes providing the best medical care makes sense. It’s the true meaning of “people helping people”. While overseeing the Oregon and Washington program (six Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals), she also chaired the Credit Unions for Kids annual auction helping to raise over $9.5 million during a 12 - year timespan.

My Dad was one of the first Co-Chairs of Credit Unions for Kids in Oregon & SW Washington around 1986. I over saw the program from 2001 - 2013 when I worked at the Oregon Credit Union League.
This video was made of us around 2017 to capture the history of the program.
